The Leading Light Award was initiated in 2018 in honor of Annie Loutzenhiser for her years of dedication and leadership to the council advisory committee and commitment to her organization's wellness initiatives. Beginning in 2019, there will be a nominating process and an honoring of the recipient annually at the fall conference awards luncheon.
Annie Loutzenhiser has been on our advisory committee since 2013. After a very courageous battle with cancer, she passed in July 2018 at the age of 44. We honor her dedication and leadership to employee health and well-being in the Panhandle.
Morning meeting stretching, fun environments and culture, nutritious food, breastfeeding policies, and evidence-based programming. We see so many of these extras all of you are pushing for your employees, their families, and ultimately impacting the community. Thank you to Annie for leaving the incredible legacy and leadership through being a Leading Light.
Starting in 2019, we will have a nominating process for an individual to receive this distinction and award. We will honor the recipient at the Panhandle Safety & Wellness Conference Awards Luncheon. Details forthcoming.
